CareCrowd’s Services are designed for advocacy and education—not medical treatment.

Even so, we apply HIPAA-aligned safeguards to any health-related information you share, including:

  • Access controls that restrict information to authorized personnel and Physician Advocates

  • Secure authentication and audit logs for every session

  • Vendor agreements that include confidentiality and security obligations

  • Regular reviews of privacy and security practices

2. Your Information and Your Rights

You control what information you share with your Physician Advocate.

You may request that we:

  • Provide a copy of the data you’ve shared through CareCrowd

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Delete your information from our systems (subject to retention rules)

  • Limit how we use your data beyond platform operations

We may verify your identity before acting on any request.

3. How We Use and Protect Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Facilitate communication between you and your Physician Advocate

  • Provide advocacy and coordination services you request

  • Improve our platform’s safety and performance

CareCrowd does not sell or disclose your identifiable information for marketing.

All access to your data is logged and monitored.

4. When We May Disclose Information

We may disclose limited information:

  • When required by law or valid legal process

  • To protect the safety of you or others

  • To trusted vendors who help us operate our secure systems

    All such disclosures follow strict confidentiality agreements.
